What educators are saying

Excellent tool to use to engage the students. The students did well in researching the information and sharing it
I needed an activity while students were being enrolled at the beginning of the year. This was the perfect activity which provided students time to work independently and allowed new students time to adjust without falling behind on curriculum.

Description

These (50) 2-sided brochure projects are packed with information for students to research. This activity can be completed in a few different ways. You can provide your students with the information to fill out their brochures, or have them find the information through Internet research. If your students are inexperienced with Internet research, guide them through the process by projecting a search that you lead. Ducksters.com and Britannica.com are two of my favorite places for students to research history. Also, your state more than likely has a site for young learners either on their main page or through a museum.

If you are creating this foldable for interactive notebooks, pockets have been included. This is blank to allow for further creativity. A drawing of the state flag is perfect for this space.
