Designed to provide a topical, thematic approach to our history, American History: A More Perfect Union/ A More Perfect World examines American history from a myriad of viewpoints. Designed a two-semester course, the first semester examines how America has worked to create a more perfect union. The second semester examines American foreign policy decisions that have worked to create a more perfect world.

The Course Layout provides a course description and a year-long, month-by-month layout for both semesters.

The Course Syllabus provides clear and concise class expectations, class norms and consequences, a grading policy, a timeliness policy, a behavior and participation rubric, and an academic integrity policy.
