The Night Before Christmas, is one of my most favorite Christmas classics. While I love reading this story to my own children and students, I've found that the vocabulary can be quite tricky for my second graders, many of whom are English Language Learners. I've included 20 different vocabulary word cards with definitions, vocabulary practice activities, and more to help your students have a deeper understanding of this classic Christmas poem while having fun celebrating the holiday!
