Introduce students to trig ratios for geometry class with these interactive notes.
Four pages of PDFs will guide students in discovering trigonometry. Beginning with sine, students measure similar triangles to understand trig concepts. The notes progress through cosine and tangent, and finally a mixture of the three with the acronym SOH CAH TOA. Practice problems are provided along the way, including simple solve for a missing side and word problems. Answer keys are included.
I recommend using these guided notes spread out over a couple of days. Check out my Trigonometry Games to give students more practice along the way!
