Description

This project involves graphing multiple trigonometry function on one set of axes. They have to graph a certain number of equations and have to use at least 3 different types out of the 6. For this they have the option to use sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cotanget, and cosecant. They also have to use multiple values that transform the parent function. We use a computer program (desmos) for the graphing. They need to find the features of each graph and write them out. The part that the students love, is they then trace the graph and make an art picture out of it. It can be a recognizable picture or an abstract one. I have included a rubric and student samples. I hope you enjoy! My students look forward to this project all year.
