Trigonometry BINGO (Pythagorean Theorem, SOH-CAH-TOA, Sine and Cosine Rule)

Students will have fun playing this Trigonometry Bingo game while reviewing important concepts in trigonometry including finding unknown lengths of triangles using the Pythagorean Theorem, setting up trigonometric ratios (SOH-CAH-TOA), and using both the Sine and Cosine Rule.

Print out one board per student. You have 32 unique bingo cards that print two to a page ready for use. There's a worksheet of all the problems included that can be assigned to students in advance as homework or classwork in order to speed up the process. The problems are on individual Power Point slides that can easily be projected on a screen, smart board or promethean board.

My preferred method of doing this is to pair up the students and have them work out the problems as we play. Depending on the caliber of the question this could take some time. If they have the answer on their board, they can put an X on it. They get Bingo once they have one full column, row, or diagonal.

To make the game more fun, use M&M’s or candy as the markers. They can eat the candy once the game is over. I use small bags of chips as prizes for the top 5 people to get bingo and other times give extra credit on the next test. Food and extra credit are great incentives! You can use whatever you’d like for a prize and you can have as many winners as you’d like.
