Description

This is a unit bundle of lessons on Trigonometric Functions most likely for an Algebra 2 or Trigonometry course. It starts out with a review of right triangle ratios of sin, cos, and tan while introducing the reciprocal function ratios. Angles of rotation and coterminal angles are introduced so that the Unit Circle can be fully developed. A blank unit circle with space for marking special angles is included so teachers can decide how they want to develop and present the unit circle and its properties. Students next work with reference angles and then finding exact values of trigonometric functions. Cofunctions are introduced next. The unit ends with an introduction to radian measure as well as a lesson on the relationship between the central angle of a circle in radians and the arc length of the circle. A review sheet and a review guide are included as well as a unit exam (with both multiple-choice and free-response questions) which is based on all of the material presented in this bundle. There are many examples and practice questions in this unit. They are the same worksheets I use with my own students and they work very well!
