Description
Increase student vocabulary with Rhyming Word Family Wheels in color and BW. This set includes word wheels for tricky sounds. These are great tutoring tools. Some are quite challenging. The first sound of the words in each wheel includes single letter sounds, initial consonant blends, some digraphs, and some syllables. Word wheels are especially helpful in a tutoring, small group setting, for use in interactive notebooks, and for self-paced eager students.
Print on white or light colored card stock, cut the circles, punch a hole in the center with a paper clip or pin, and assemble with a round headed paper fastener. If a paper fastener is not available use a pin, nail, or screw the wheels to a cork or piece of wood. Use your imagination to invent a new way to use materials that are available.
