Description

Trick-or-treating can be a difficult skill for some students. This social story can help prepare them to participate in all of the trick-or-treating fun! It takes them through picking a costume, bringing an adult to trick-or-treat and the steps for trick-or-treating. This social story and related activities are perfect for preschool and kindergarten students, special education students, and students needing extra assistance when reading. This "Trick-or-Treat Social Story" product teach young students Halloween and trick-or-treating vocabulary in a fun and interactive way! They can be used a a read aloud, a language arts/literacy center or in a classroom library during the "Halloween" season.

This product includes:

-Social Story

-Reading Comprehension Clip Cards

-Sequencing activities (3 and 4 step)

-Writing activities (3 and 4 step)

-Writing keyword cheat sheets

Social Story-

Students are responsible for reading the text or listening to the text. This social story helps students learn the steps involved in trick-or-treating.

Sequencing Activities-

Students can practice the skills they learned by completing these 3 or 4 step sequencing activities. They can be used as a cut and paste worksheet or laminated and used again and again! These activities are available in color and printer friendly versions.

Writing Activities and Keyword Cheat Sheets-

Students can practice the skills they have learned by completing these 3 or 4 step writing activities. Students must sequence the pictures, then write about them. There is a "keyword cheat sheet" included that students can use to assist them with their writing.
