Description
This set of 24- task cards provides students with practice identifying and applying triangle congruence using SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS, and HL. The following types of questions are included:
- Identify which theorem or postulate could be used to prove two triangles are congruent
- Name additional information needed to prove triangles congruent, given a theorem or postulate
- Identify the common side or angle of two congruent overlapping triangles
- Name a pair of overlapping congruent triangles and tell which postulate or theorem would be used to tell they are congruent
PERFECT to use as a quiz/ test review or just for extra practice after the skill is introduced.
You will receive:
• 24 Task Cards (4 to a page)
• Student Recording Sheet (mini white boards work as a great alternative!)
• Answer Key
• 32- unique MATHO game boards (laminate & reuse or print enough for each student and have them mark answers with a highlighter)
Task Cards: Use the cards for activities such as "scoot", a walkabout activity, or display them under the document camera and have students write their answers on mini whiteboards.
