What educators are saying
I love the resources! It helps students organize the connected vocabulary and the problems are great for challenging my 8th grade Honors Geo students.
Description
This lesson is a high school level geometry introduction to triangle concurrency. The first lesson focuses on the properties of the centroid, using coordinate geometry to locate the intersection of the medians. The second lesson uses an online applet to investigate the properties of the other three major points of the concurrency (the orthocenter, incenter, and circumcenter). A comparison of all concurrent points are made and practice multiple choice questions are included. A homework assignment consisting of ten multiple-choice questions is also provided.
