Description

Transformations on the Coordinate Plane that Become Artwork to Hang in the Classroom! - Rotations, Reflections, Translations (Shifts), and Dilations

There are two differentiated versions plus a create-your-own option that a student can make and swap with a partner!

Here are the pages that are included:

VERSION 1:
Worksheet “A” including only rotations around the origin and another point, reflections across only vertical and horizontal lines, and translations (shifts)

VERSION 2:
Worksheet “B” including rotations, reflections across vertical & horizontal lines and the line y = x, translations (shifts), and dilations of circles from their center points and from a point at the top of the circle, and two-step transformations combining two of these at once

VERSION 3:
A create-your-own partner activity in which a student creates a draft and then a final version of directions to create their own transformation artwork. A partner will re-create the artwork using only the set of written instructions.
