Description
Who is this for? Those who teach students who need reinforcement of behavior or help with tasks, RBTs/BCBAs or anyone in ABA therapy, anyone interacting with students with autism or learning delays, and a variety of other people.
What’s inside, and how to use this:
INCLUDED:
- 280 tokens in full color across 14 pages (but you can always choose to print in b&w, though only color is provided)
- A blank template of token chart
- an example token chart
- info pages on how to use chart
ON CHART:
- Working toward (goal): This is long-term, and that might just mean the week, month, or even further out. It might be more general.
- Working on (steps): This is more immediate, so the current hour or day to achieve to earn a token (or multiple). These should be specific and measurable whenever possible. They should also help with the goal.
- Token chart: And of course, the chart! This is where tokens will go. You get to facilitate how many should be earned to get a reward/reinforcer (not provided, as it depends on the person). Tokens should be given when any of the “working on” bullets get met.
What to do with these tokens?
First: cut them all into squares!
Recommended: laminate beforehand for longer use.
Then, you or the student can pick whichever theme is desired, then as you work on tasks or behaviors, tokens are earned. There’s a main goal being worked on weekly (or further out) with daily steps to work toward it with.
Use with included token chart.
Storage: I recommend a small box or gallon bag. Have each theme in snack or quart size baggies, then put those baggies in the box or gallon bag. You may even label multiple copies of tokens for different people.
