Drive student engagement through the roof with this comprehensive Escape Room simulation in a race against the clock as students use knowledge of the plot, characters, setting, and events of To Kill a Mockingbird -- arguably one of the most beloved novels in all of American literature!

This Escape Room is designed to test your students’ knowledge of To Kill a Mockingbird in a high-energy end-of-unit collaborative activity, where student groups will race against the clock to save Jem and Scout Finch from the vengeful grasp of the murderous Bob Ewell!

DOWNLOAD CONTAINS:
There are five different puzzles in this game, all of which can only be unlocked by correctly solving a total of 45 themed clues testing the following concepts:
• UV Flashlight Scavenger Hunt - Close Reading (five clues)
• Secrets of the Oak Tree Scramble - Symbolism (eight clues w/ cipher)
• Maycomb County Map Puzzle - Setting / Plot (eight clues w/ cipher)
• Cast of Characters Quote ID - Quote Identification (16 quotes w/ cipher).
• Timeline Puzzle - Chronology / Symbolism (8 clues w/ cipher)

BONUS PUZZLE:
Consider using this as a “play-in” puzzle that student teams must solve in order to gain access to all other game puzzles.
