Description

This two page, 50 question scavenger hunt follows Jack London's story, "To Build a Fire" in chronological order. Students have to find the answers as they read or reread the story. This activity works well as either an individual directed reading or as a partner assignment. It can also be given as homework or an open book quiz. This is an add water and stir lesson plan, easy for the teacher and with a high effectiveness index for students. It keeps them on task and improves reading comprehension. A two page answer KEY is provided, making this four pages total. Please do not share the KEY.
