What educators are saying

Thank you for this wonderful resource! It went perfectly with our Inventors unit. My students enjoyed the activity, and I enjoyed the easy prep! Thanks again.

Description

This resource is a fun and interactive worksheet set that teaches children the history and evolution of the telephone development. It displays a detailed timeline of all the various types of telephones invented over the years, from the first telegraphs/telephones ever invented by Alexander Graham Bell to the phones we see in today's world, such as the infamous iPhone. This listing also includes fill-in-the-blank activities. The first version is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet set where children can attach the pictures of the type of phones under the appropriate dates; the second version is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet set where children can attach the dates above the phone types. This set also includes posters to hang in and around the classroom when studying this theme.

How Do I Use It?

Simply print, cut and laminate all pages (see below for additional details.) This set is intended to be laminated and the use of Velcro dots is also highly encouraged but is not mandatory and can work without lamination/Velcro. This is a digital file, so you will have to print, cut, laminate and Velcro yourself.
