Description

Teach students to use their time effectively and recognize behaviors that waste time with this success skills lesson. They will learn about procrastination, not focusing, being lazy, distractions, and lack of planning. Perfect for school counselors and small groups. Includes a digital version for Google Slides Distance Learning

This activity takes about 30 minutes to complete with a small or large group. The goal is for students to practice recognizing time-wasting behavior, each student will have their own clock and they will attempt to find the "time thieves" in given scenarios. They move their hour hand on the clock one hour for every time thief found, with a goal of reaching midnight.

Includes:

►Activity description including instructions/walk-through of activity, objectives, materials, guiding questions, ASCA standards, and SEL competencies.

►1 page listing the types of "Time Thieves"

►5 different colored clocks.

►5 pages of time wasting scenarios (40 cards in total)

►1 page of blank scenario cards (to make your own)

►Black and white versions included!

►Google slides version.
