My elementary music students love to pat the beat, tap the rhythm, or read the melody / solfege on the staff! This music teacher resource has tons of melody and rhythm preparation and practice activities.

This resource can be used with ANY rhythmic counting system. Rhythms include quarter notes, eighth notes, and sixteenth notes.

Special Note: In the do pentatonic resource flashcards, phrases 5 and 7 have the lyrics (not the melodic notation) so that you can use this for do pentatonic practice. In the high do resource flashcards, I included the whole song with notation, so you can save this for later after you have presented high do!
