What educators are saying

This was an excellent addition to our sociology course! We watched the movies together and used the pages for a wrap-up and discussion.
This was a great worksheet to complete while watching the movie. My students were engaged and learned a lot about Nature vs Nurture.

Description

This award-winning documentary is great to use in a psychology or sociology class about the debate between nature and nurture! It can also be used in a class that examines the impact of parenting styles on development or unethical studies in psychology.

In 1980 New York, three young men who were all adopted meet each other and find out they're triplets who were separated at birth. But their quest to find out why turns into a bizarre and sinister mystery. They discover they are part of a larger study of identical children.

This video guide is 20 questions (17 multiple choice with a key for easy grading) and 3 reflection questions to provoke a discussion.

My students found this engaging documentary eye-opening and heartbreaking. It truly highlights a study that cannot be repeated and the findings definitely make for an interesting conversation with students!
