Thematic movement activities unit includes 10 different themed brain break activities. The themes includes 10 different fun movements (for a total of 100 brain breaks) to help get the wiggles out during your distance learning sessions or face to face speech therapy. Each unit encourages requesting using a visual sentence strip and provides opportunity to label nouns and actions, imitation, and describing skills. Thematic Movement Activities is ideal for increasing attention span and engagement with preschool to early elementary age students. All activities are low impact gross motor movements with visuals for crossing midline, whole body movements, balance and some extra imagination.
Themes include: Ocean Animals, Weather Unit, Farm Unit, Space Unit, Winter Animals, Zoo Animals, Pets Unit, Woodland Animals, Bugs Unit, and Exercising Unit.
Included: Interactive PDF (can be used on computer, iPad, or phone with clickable buttons), printable task cards (4x6) for plastic talk box containers, and an activity guide for additional activities if you are providing services in person.
