These 20 theme and main idea task cards are perfect for standardized test prep or PSSA end-of-year test. They use fiction excerpts from popular youth books to help engage your students as they practice answering a variety of questions about theme and central idea.

Each card contains a short excerpt, two multiple-choice questions, and one short answer question.
