Description

This carefully curated theatre vocabulary list is the first in a series of five to bring meaningful, clear, and helpful vocabulary to your middle and high school students.

On Theatre Vocabulary List #1: The Basics, you will find 12 beginner theatre vocabulary terms including blocking, improv, and theatre games, among other helpful words. With a firm understanding of these basic terms in mind, theatre and drama students will have the foundation they need to dive into the lessons you have planned!

This list is great for a warm-up or bellringer activity, a standalone vocabulary lesson, or even as some light theatre homework.

Included in this download are FOUR TEMPLATES, including a completed list, a list with missing blanks, and each of these two lists without the #1 included in the title in case you want to use this list without the others in the series.

With both a completed and a blanks-included list, you can decide which to give your students! The completed list can be a key just for you or a ready-to-go vocabulary list for your students!
