Description
Are your students familiar with the steps to creating Broadway musicals? Teach your students the process of creating a song for a musical of their own! Working cooperatively your students become lyricists by writing their own lyrics for the song of their choice. It is most successful with students in sixth through eighth grade, especially students new to theater, vocal music or in a Language Arts class. The unit can last for 5 -it depends upon the students.
