Description

Q-tip Painting and Story Retelling Booklet

Print all activity pages (including the cover).

Staple together to make a booklet.

Students can complete one page a day.

Keep out to dry and then continue on the next page the following day.

Once book is complete, the students can practice retelling the story “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle to a student friend or a teacher (parent).

Engaging fine motor activity for our little learners!

Q-tip Painting – A Fine Motor Activity

“Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscles, in movements – usually involving the synchronization of hands and fingers – with eyes”.

Q-tip Painting Activities are made with fine motor development in mind (helps develop a good pencil grip)

Use Q-tips (cotton swabs) and Paint.

Provide students with a paint tray and q-tips. Demonstrate an example to show that the circles have to be stamped using a q-tip as a painting tool.

The activity in complete when all circles have been stamped.
