Description

Your students will enjoy reading and researching about the history of the Underground Railroad. I recommend reading pictures books or having several pictures books for students to choose from- although this is not necessary. Students can use the included links for summaries and research.

I primarily created and use this as an elementary 4-5 grade gifted and talented /high achievers enrichment activity - for when students finish his/her work. It also works well with general ed. I use this as a digital enrichment activity for SOL VS 7a.

In this activity your students will read online web information, summarize it. Then they will use pictures to summarize information as well as write facts to create a poster and write a report. This activity is wonderful for the 21st century classroom as your students will be excited and engaged as they practice identifying nonfiction facts and sequence key details in text. This paperless activity is formatted so that your students have everything they will need in one place.

This product will be accessed as a link in a PDF file. You will need to be signed into your Google account. Next you will need to click on the link and you will be prompted to "Make a Copy". You can rename the file. In this PDF.
