What educators are saying
My students and their families really enjoyed making these plates. I did add a little more writing to it because my students need the practice and they did awesome. It also looked great on my bullentin board.
My students loved doing this project and they turned out great! I have received so many compliments from other teachers on my students' plates. I am definitely doing these each year!
Description
The “Thankful Platefull” Project has been a November tradition in my classroom for years! I enjoy this project because the students LOVE creating their plates with their families, and they shine with pride while sharing what they are most thankful for with the class. Sharing day is the sweetest day!
The project is so easy to implement—here is what you will need to do to get started:
-Buy thick/strong paper or plastic plates {like Chinet brand}—you will need one plate for each child
-Print the _____’s Thankful Platefull labels, and glue one to the center of each plate.
-Send home the project letter the first week of November
-Set a project due date!
*Platefull=made up word. :)
