What educators are saying

I tied this resource in with some videos on YouTube. The students loved the slides and information provided.
This was a fun way to bring the meaning of the Star Spangled Banner and the history of the author/poet to my students. They enjoyed learning these facts. Thank you!

Description

An interactive way to teach your students about the history of Francis Scott Key and the Star-Spangled Banner. The students will click through Key's "office" before doing a mini quiz on what they learned. They will the learn the history of the Battle of Fort McHenry before doing an interactive "finish the lyrics." The last slide teaches your students the proper etiquette for how to behave during the national anthem. Great for full group instruction or distance learning. Every slide is editable so you can add or delete information as you choose. View this product at https://youtu.be/5cQpWIwlDM4
