Vocabulary Coins: p. 3-6 Print, cut, and laminate. Use while telling the story. These will also be used with p. 18 for describing.

Sequencing: p. 7-8 Have your students cut out the pictures on page 8 and glue them in sequential order onto page 7. (BW version also included on pages 9-10)

Comprehension Questions: p. 11-12 Print and give a copy to each student. Have your students color in the correct answer.

Story Scene: P. 14-15 Print and laminate. Cut out interactive pieces on p. 15. Use as a barrier game for following directions.

Spin & Write Verb Tense: p. 16-17 Provide each student with a worksheet. Place a paper clip on the wheel and use a pencil to hold it in place. Spin the spinner and write the past, present, and future tense of each verb.

Describing: P. 18-19 Use the vocabulary coins with p. 18 and have your students describe each object. p. 19 Provide each student with a copy. They will need to find the described objects. Once they have found all of the objects, they can talk about them and compare their answers with others in the group.

Cause & Effect Mittens: p.20-21 Print, cut, and laminate. Have your students match up the mittens.

Word Search: P.22 Provide each student with a copy.

New Vocabulary: p.23 Teach new words to students by having them match the word with its definition.

Sentence Scramble: p.24-26 Print, cut, and laminate. Have your students arrange the words to form sentences from the story.. p. 27 worksheet using the same sentences for older students or those who don't need manipulatives.

On my snowy day… Writing Prompt: p. 28 Have your students write about what they would do on their snowy day, then draw a picture to illustrate.

See, Say, Color Articulation Worksheets: p. 29-32 /s,r,l/ are provided and a blank copy to create your own. Provide each student with a copy.
