Description

What exactly is an interactive read aloud and why is it important?

An interactive read aloud is a great way to engage learners through and push thinking through thoughtful questioning. It's a tool that helps push your learners into higher level thinking while also spiraling independent reading skills - giving them a chance to engage in meaningful discussions while also exposing them to rigorous question stems commonly found on standardized assessments.

This slideshow contains a comprehensive collection of skills based open ended and multiple choice questions to promote a deeper understanding of Tae Keller's heartfelt novel, The Science of Breakable Things.

This product requires no prep and can be used immediately upon download. Questions were created using standard based stems which (1) allows for learners to apply to skills you've taught and (2) provides an opportunity for you to assess skills based comprehension.
