Description

This book talk pack for, "The Right Side of Reckless" by Whitney D. Grandison, has everything you need to confidently introduce this book to your students (even if you have not read the book yourself.) The pack includes a book talk "script" that you are welcome to read verbatim on your school's social media or learning platform like Canvas or Blackboard as a "Book Talk Tuesday" or similar promotion.

In addition to a book talk, you can further hook your readers with the accompanying anticipatory activity. Students are given scenario cards that feature problems the main characters face in the book. Students choose their solutions and discuss their reasoning.
