This is a CCSS based quiz that covers figurative language used in "The Phantom Tollbooth." Included are excerpts from the novel and a word bank of types of figurative language (i.e. simile, metaphor, alliteration, hyperbole, onomatopoeia, personification, and idiom). Students will highlight and identify the type of figurative language. 50 excerpts are included.
