Description

This is chapter five of six in a thematic unit plan based on the shortest version of The Peter Pan Story. It is a great package to send home with students for the summer. The directions are clear and concise. Students should be able to complete on their own. The teacher simply needs to print materials, staple or clip together and send home.

Chapter five includes informational text that are directly related to The Peter Pan Story. Students learn about different bodies of water such as springs, bay's and lagoons. The final project is a map of the entire story. The package engages students and provides them with small bits and pieces of information needed to write on their own.

If the entire bundle is purchased it includes informational text in both science and social studies such as the water cycle, lagoons, lakes, crocodiles, and wigwams. If purchased as a part of the bundle, the end result will be a treasure chest rich in content based on the elements of a story that they can use as portfolio or bulletin board items to start off next as well as information about the elements of a story that they will be able to refer back to year after year,
