What educators are saying
Every year I will teach my students about the attack on Pearl Harbor after visiting the memorial. This was a great resource to help students understand the attacks that happened so many years ago.
Description
This 35 slide interactive powerpoint covers that fateful day on December 7th, 1941 when the US was pulled into World War Two. It tells the story of the Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor and incorporates exciting 3D clipart and photos from the time period. It includes a link to President Roosevelt's famous speech, where he said, "Today is a day that will live in infamy!" This power point is done in a way to alleviate the fear some students may feel from this and is culturally appropriate.
