Description

Here is a fun Reader's Theater for St. Patrick's Day!

The script comes in two formats. One format has blank lines for you to assign as many readers as you'd like. The other format has roles for four readers and comes in a color-coded version, also.

Headbands/necklaces are included for four readers marked Reader 1, 2, 3, and 4. If you have more readers, there is an headband/necklace that has no reader designation. Copy as many of those as you need.

Reader's Theaters are a wonderful way to promote reading fluency! They are also an excellent way to practice basic reading skills.

Included in this packet is a one-page rhyming cut-and-paste worksheet and a one-page "retell the story" worksheet.

The AR grade level for this book is 2.6. The test number is 128253.

If you like this Reader's Theater, I also have scripts for:

There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Clover

The Luckiest Leprechaun

The Great Leprechaun Chase (Pete the Cat)

How to Trap a Leprechaun

How to Catch a Leprechaun

Green Shamrocks

Thanks so much for your interest in this product. Please feel free to change it in any way so that it best fits the needs of your classroom.

Each script is 3 1/4 pages in length.
