Description

Our story begins with a brother and sister. Their father has gone off to fight in the Crusades and their mother is very sick. Their mother tells them that she has a brother and she asks them to go and find their uncle. Come join the adventure as Roger and Alice set off looking for their Uncle - Lord Raimond.

Students will journal using vocabulary from the book and in the process will learn about genre, themes, and the main characters of the story. They will create a lapbook as a tangible method of developing their writing and life skills.

A Lapbook is a hands-on method for students to visually learn about the subject material being taught. A Lapbook highlights the study. The Lapbook can be held in the student’s lap, so…that’s how we got the name Lapbook!
