The Middle Ages

Students are naturally drawn to the magic and mystery of the Middle Ages with its kings, queens, castles, courts, and knights in shining armor. The booktalks and activities included have been chosen to strengthen and enrich learning about this period of history and to help students develop language arts, reading, social studies, and critical and creative thinking skills. Topics include Europe during the Middle Ages, the successions of European rules, Medieval literature, and religions and mythological literature.
