Description
I use this activity to help build student-teacher relationships in the first week of school!
I give each student a sheet of notebook paper and go over this presentation with them. Then, each student writes you a letter using the prompts in the presentation. After (and this is most important), I write each student a letter back!
Students love getting letters back and seeing that not only did you read what they took the time to tell you about themselves, but that you took them seriously and cared for what they have to say. My students talk about their letters all year long!
