The Legend of the Virgin of Guadalupe - Bilingual Bundle

The story of Juan Diego and the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe is known by all Mexicans, Mexican – Americans , Latin Americans and many U.S. Catholics. A very large majority of Mexicans revere the Virgin of Guadalupe, whether or not they are Catholic. Because she is so important to the people of Mexico, it is wise to teach about this legend. This packet of The Virgin of Guadalupe contains readings (in English or Spanish) with two levels in each ,with pictures to help in comprehension. Level one is written in the present tense mostly. The exercises are true and false and information gathering (full sentence writing suggested). There is also a fill-in-the-blank exercise. Level two is written in the past tense. The vocabulary is kept at a low intermediate level, too. The exercises are information gathering questions. There is a black and white coloring sheet of the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe for those students who wish to color it.
