The Great Divorce Full Unit

This document contains all of my compiled resources and lesson plans that I've used in my high school British Literature class for my unit on C.S. Lewis' The Great Divorce. While it is quite an intellectual text, I do my best to make it accessible to every student. We work our way through the book in a slow, directed way, typically using a graphic organizer to analyze Lewis' intentions behind each chapter's "ghost." And along the way, I intersperse plenty of analysis activities, probing questions and writing prompts, relevant movie clips, and modern songs. I also take the approach of making the unit accessible to both Christian and non-Christian students.
