I have created another jam-packed unit to help you teach the Depth and Complexity icons and close reading to primary students. I have taken the traditional story of The First Thanksgiving and added activities for annotation, responses, and close reading. I have also included a writing activity in this unit. It includes a sequencing graphic organizer to help students write a summary about the First Thanksgiving. I embed DOK and Depth and Complexity in all my products.
