The Daughters of Bilitis - LGBTQ Pioneers

Description
Originally this work was a master’s Thesis for a MA in History - I am now offering to Educators who may have students - recommended at least Juniors in High School who are researching the various topics of the LGBTQA Movement - specifically the women who fought to have Lesbians recognized as "equal partners" in this struggle for gender equality.
This effort is dedicated to the brave women, and their supporters that are detailed in this work. They fought and laid the groundwork for the many victories that a very marginalized minority have won over the past half century.
When I was in college my professors taught me so much in the classroom – these women have taught me so much of life that I did not know as I have read and discovered their sacrifices and struggles. To my professors and them I express my appreciation and gratitude. Thank you.
