Description
Help your students make sense of the characters in the first act of Arthur Miller's play, The Crucible, with this fun characterization poster project. Seven characters introduced in the play's first act are included, with each character making a four-page poster. All you have to do is print!
Each poster features black and white clipart for your students to decorate and design based on the characters' descriptions. Prompt questions are included around the poster for students to complete.
This activity can be done in groups, with each group working on a different character, or as an independent project. The posters make for great classroom displays once completed and can help your students keep track of who's who in the play. The posters make for a great modified body biography project.
Each character prints on four pieces of paper and is easily aligned. Characters include: Abigail, Proctor, Elizabeth, Tituba, Hale, Parris, and Putnam.
