What educators are saying

Great for breaking down key lines with my SWDs. Appreciate the scaffolding and answer key. Great timesaver for targeting key points.

Description

This 2 page Figurative Language worksheet on Arthur Miller's "The Crucible" has 40 direct quotations from Act III that contain different examples of figures of speech. A paragraph of explanation and definitions introduces this assignment; I read that paragraph out loud to the students. Students then identify and write the type of figurative language for each quotation. This works well as a class assignment or for homework. An answer KEY is provided.
