Instead of creating a different lesson or routine for each breadth challenge, teach your young artists a process by which they can discover and interpret any artistic style or design principle. In this highly detailed unit plan, inspired by the "Design Cycle" and "Studio Habits of Mind," you will guide your students through the process of discovery, interpretation, ideation, experimentation, and evolution.
