It's not always what you say, but how you say it! "The Code Switch" a realistic fiction about a tender naive friendship that's challenged when two girls become valedictorian candidates. One young girl speaks colloquial English, the other articulates Standard English. The competition causes their special bond to weaken. Will their friendship withstand disagreements and differences? Who will win? Who should win? They ultimately realize the true meaning of two very important facets of life, friendship and academic achievement.
