Description
This is a fun, creative project to use before, during, or after reading "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe. Montresor mentions his family's coat of arms on several occasions in the story, which reinforces the story's theme of revenge. This project gives your students an opportunity to create their own using Montresor's coat of arms as a model. There are 7 different blank templates provided in the document for you and your students to choose from. On the back of their coat of arms, have students write a reflective paragraph where they describe what they created and how it represents them.
The ZIP file contains .DOC and .PDF versions.
