The Blind Side: Movie Analysis

We all must admit that kids love movies. A movie analysis is an effective educational strategy that influences the building of a culturally diverse community that does not limit itself to the classroom and traditional classroom resources. When the classroom becomes the community, learners are empowered and higher levels of critical thinking are reached. Nothing is more effective than the study of the many issues in The Blind Side. Various activities are included in this package, including a project-based and problem-based learning lesson plan on homelessness. Not only will students enjoy analyzing the movie, but, they will recognize what it means to be "our brother's keeper."
