The Basics of Algebra 1: A Survival Guide for Teachers

I spent 37 years teaching mathematics and science and have always tried to make my lectures and explanations as basic as possible. I will present to you the technique and style that I used when teaching Algebra 1 to 9th graders as well as remedial students at the community college level. My explanations are tried and true examples that provided each of my students with the knowledge and confidence to face Algebra 1 and beyond with a strong foundation.
