The Bad Seed Lesson and Activities for Social Emotional Learning

Jory John’s “The Bad Seed” is an awesome story with several themes that make it great for SEL lessons or guidance lessons, group counseling, and individual counseling. This resource is a set of activities that companion wonderfully with the book, for any topic you want to focus on with your student(s). Activities cover the following objectives: recognizing that there is good in everything and everyone, choosing positive self-talk, believing people (including yourself) can change, and how to be supportive of misbehaving peers.
