The Arts WA CURRICULUM YEAR 2 Forward Planner

This document contains the FIVE (5) WA Curriculum (SCSA) Learning Areas for The Arts; Music, Drama, Dance, Visual Arts & Media Arts for YEAR TWO.

Each learning area overview is on its own page. The first 5 pages contain the overviews. Each overview includes the Learning Area Description, the Achievement Standard and each outcome has its link to the General Capabilities. You can simply highlight which outcomes you are teaching towards for the term.

The 6th Page is a blank term lesson planner. Here, you can list your specific term outcomes on the left, with links to the curriculum, then plan chronologically each lesson for the term. There is only one lesson planner included as you can make as many copies of these as is needed, depending on how many Arts areas you teach.

PLEASE NOTE this is an A3 sized document. You will need to adjust your printer settings AND your page layout size in Microsoft Word. The PDF versions have also been included in case you have trouble with formatting. While these can not be edited digitally, you can record your outcomes by hand.
